Scope
These terms describe the general basis for architecture, product engineering, deployment and managed operations. A signed statement of work controls project-specific requirements, milestones, fees and service levels.
Ownership
Unless a statement of work says otherwise, custom deliverables created for a client transfer to that client after final payment. Pre-existing tools and general libraries remain with their original owner and are licensed as agreed.
AI systems
Machine-learning systems are probabilistic. Acceptance targets, validation data and maintenance responsibilities should be defined before production deployment.
